Pałac Górków w Poznaniu

Poznań, wielkopolskie

This Renaissance palace on ulica Wodna in Poznań's Old Town was built in 1545–1549, when Andrzej II Górka converted several Gothic townhouses into one residence. Today it houses the Archaeological Museum, so a visit pairs a historic building with archaeological collections. It fills a corner block just off the Market Square, bounded by Wodna, Klasztorna, Kozia and Świętosławska streets.
