On the ground floor of Altrandsberg castle, a four-wing building from the 16th and 17th centuries, you will find replicas of artworks whose originals can otherwise only be seen in museums around the world. Themed display cases lead from the Stone Age through the Celts, Scythians, Thracians, Egypt, Crete and Rome to the Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque. The tour works like a journey through Western art history.
