Rundfunkmuseum Cham

Cham, Bayern

Housed in a former telecommunications office, this museum covers 1,800 square metres with about 3,000 items of radio, television and studio technology in ten sections. There is also a large collection of vacuum tubes, and the physics section runs high-voltage experiments. A highlight is its own medium-wave transmitter on 801 kHz, built from a module of the former Bavarian Broadcasting transmitter at Ismaning.
