Weißes Schloss (Heroldsberg)

Heroldsberg, Bayern

Until 2005 this castle served as Heroldsberg's town hall; today it is a museum and venue. The Nuremberg patrician family Geuder had it built. After destruction in the Second Margrave War it was rebuilt from 1565 into its present form, and an octagonal, four-storey stair tower was added around 1762.
