Waldmuseum im Aussichtsturm

Set in almost 30 hectares of woodland, a rarity in tree-poor Dithmarschen, the forest museum occupies a lookout tower on the 65-metre Wulfsboom. Mounted animals show the region's habitats, alongside displays on nature conservation, hunting, geology, palaeontology and archaeology. Outside are a forest trail, a herb garden with barefoot path, an adventure playground and walking routes through mixed forest and heath.
