Kanalmuseum ATRIUM
Brunsbüttel, Schleswig-Holstein
Right beside the locks of the Kiel Canal, this museum tells how the canal and its locks came to be built. Landscape and working models show locks and bridges, while photographs and paintings record the construction and the opening in 1895. Technical displays and ship models round out the collection, and the canal yacht harbour is next door.
