Vogtländisches Freilichtmuseum Landwüst

Right at Saxony's southern tip, close to the Bavarian and Czech borders, this open-air museum covers about 2.5 hectares and shows how farming families in the Vogtland lived and worked from the late 18th century onwards. Historic buildings, rare collection pieces and typical farm products bring everyday country life into view. It began in 1961 as a collection of old agricultural tools.
