Villa ten Hompel

Münster, Nordrhein-Westfalen

Built from 1924 for the cement industrialist Rudolf ten Hompel, this villa is now a memorial to crimes committed by police and administration under the Nazis. It also recalls how victims of persecution were compensated after the war, and works against right-wing extremism and for democracy. It stands on the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Ring in Münster.
