Turmuhrenmuseum Neulußheim
Neulußheim, Baden-Württemberg
Under the roof of Neulußheim's old school, the history of the tower clock is on show: more than 25 clocks from Norbert Schäfer's private collection. The oldest is about 500 years old, with verge and foliot, while one of the newest is radio-controlled and shows itself on the facade with a huge dial. Makers represented come from across Germany, Belgium and France, including the Strasbourg workshop of Schwilgué.
