Töpfermuseum Kohren-Sahlis
Frohburg, Sachsen
This museum occupies a handsome Baroque house of 1763 with a half-timbered upper floor, where pots were made until 1957. You can see a preserved potter's room that served as both living and working space, along with ceramics from the 16th to 20th centuries. Guild items such as the guild chest, banner and pewter tableware round out the display. A potter's mark in the keystone above the doorway recalls the building's past.
