Terra Vulcania

At the edge of the Mayen quarry field, this museum traces some 7,000 years of stone quarrying across two floors, from the Neolithic onwards. Interactive stations let you try out extraction and transport methods from different eras. It also covers grinding stones, millstones and building stone, the trade in them, and the lives of quarry workers and their families. An information area introduces the other Vulkanpark sites.
