Telefonmuseum Bochum

On the Telekom site that also holds the Bochum telecommunications tower, this museum traces the beginnings of telecommunication. It shows historic telephones, teleprinters, exchanges, tools and measuring instruments. A complete telephone exchange with parts from 1922 to 1955 still works: visitors can make connections themselves and watch the electromechanical selectors move.
