Synagoge Affaltrach

Obersulm, Baden-Württemberg

Built in 1851 to replace an older, dilapidated house of worship nearby, this synagogue in Affaltrach now holds a museum on the history of the Jews of Heilbronn and its surrounding district. A visit combines an exhibition on local Jewish life with the chance to see a surviving synagogue building from the nineteenth century, on Untere Gasse in the village.
