Alexanderhäuschen
Weinsberg, Baden-Württemberg
This small guest house beside the Kernerhaus was bought in 1828 by the poet and physician Justinus Kerner, who first used it as a garden house and then fitted it out for his many visitors. Ludwig Uhland, Nikolaus Lenau and Eduard Mörike all stayed here. It is named after Count Alexander of Württemberg, whose furniture probably accounts for the few period pieces that survive inside. Today the half-timbered house forms part of the Kerner museum in Weinsberg.
