Stiftsmuseum Xanten

Xanten, Nordrhein-Westfalen

Housed in the converted buildings of the former canons' foundation of St. Victor, this museum shows the treasury of Xanten's church and further traces of regional history across 800 square metres. The furnishings of the Gothic collegiate church survive in the form of altars, tapestries, sculptures, liturgical vessels, reliquaries and vestments. A historic library and an archive on Rhineland history are attached.
