Steinmetzmuseum Kaisersteinbruch

Bruckneudorf, Burgenland

This small museum tells of the stonemasons' trade and of life in the village of Kaisersteinbruch. It was set up in 1990 in a classroom of the former two-class village school, complete with desks from the 1920s. The exhibition grew from material gathered over years of collecting and research, and it also recalls the villagers who were forcibly resettled in 1939.
