Maria Biljan-Bilger Ausstellungshalle Sommerein
Sommerein, Niederösterreich
Architect Friedrich Kurrent built this hall in Sommerein for his wife, the sculptor Maria Biljan-Bilger, and her sculptures. The building, with an irregular trapezoid plan and a gently undulating roof, is worth a look in itself. It stands beside a chapel converted into a home and a former quarry, and was completed in 2004.
