Two old parsonages on the Kirchberg form the core of Mittweida's town museum. Linked to it are the Johannes-Schilling-Haus, the Altes Erbgericht on Kirchstraße and an exhibition on Erich Loest. There is also a parsonage garden, and the programme includes cellar tours and a historic school lesson.
