Burg Kriebstein

This 14th-century castle sits on a rock spur above the Zschopau, its late Gothic architecture preserved despite continuous use. The massive keep, 45 metres tall with oriel turrets and a small roof turret, dominates the site. Around it stand the gatehouse, the curtain wall with its residential wing, the kitchen and the chapel wing.
