Städtisches Lapidarium Stuttgart
Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg
In the grounds of a former villa, more than 200 pieces, mostly of stone, are set out among the trees and lawns, tracing five centuries of Stuttgart's history. The open-air collection also includes Roman antiquities gathered by Carl von Ostertag-Siegle, the villa's former owner. It makes for an easy walk through the city's past, piece by piece, in a quiet green setting.
