Städtische Wessenberg-Galerie

Konstanz, Baden-Württemberg

This art museum occupies the house where Ignaz Heinrich von Wessenberg lived and died, close to Konstanz's cathedral. Its focus is art of the 19th and 20th centuries from southwest Germany and the Lake Constance region. A small permanent display draws on Wessenberg's own bequest of engravings and lithographs, and the Hans Meid Kabinett presents works by that artist, changing from year to year.
