Städtische Galerie Böblingen

A restored medieval tithe barn and a postmodern glass-and-steel extension together house the city's art collection. It shows paintings, prints, objects and sculpture by avant-garde artist groups of south-west Germany from the first third of the 20th century. A further focus is the work of the painter Fritz Steisslinger, who settled on Böblingen's Tannenberg in the 1920s. The German Peasants' War Museum shares the same complex.
