St.-Annen-Museum Lübeck

Lübeck, Schleswig-Holstein

Set in a former convent in Lübeck's old town, this museum presents the art and cultural history of the city. Halls and panelling taken from Lübeck townhouses were built into the rooms when the convent became a museum, so the interiors themselves tell part of the story. It opened in 1915 and stands next to the synagogue, near the Aegidienkirche.
