Sendermuseum Königs Wusterhausen

Königs Wusterhausen, Brandenburg

On the Funkerberg, the site of the former transmitting station, this museum recalls that Germany's first radio Christmas concert was broadcast from here on 22 December 1920. More than 1,500 exhibits cover transmitter technology. A highlight is the Tegel transmitter, brought here in 1948 and still in working order.
