Heimatmuseum Motzen

This local museum in Motzen traces how the village took shape, from brickworks and plastics factories to its life around the water. Indoor displays cover prehistory and geology, household work, trades and industry, as well as water sports, golf and angling. A small open-air area outside shows hand tools and farm equipment. Since 2000 the museum has occupied the Haus des Gastes beside the redesigned village centre.
