Schulze-Delitzsch-Haus – Deutsches Genossenschaftsmuseum

Delitzsch, Sachsen

In this timber-framed house on Kreuzgasse, almost 400 years old, Hermann Schulze-Delitzsch founded a shoemakers' association with local cobblers in 1849, regarded as Germany's first trade cooperative. The museum is devoted to him and his work as founder of the modern cooperative movement. The house was restored in the early 1990s.
