A former colonial-goods warehouse from 1925 now houses an art museum. It concentrates on contemporary artists from Saxony-Anhalt, across photography, prints, painting, sculpture and applied arts. Works by Joseph Beuys, Robert Rauschenberg, A. R. Penck and Klaus Staeck have also been acquired. The museum hosts readings, art talks and chamber music too.
