This baroque five-wing palace was once a summer residence of the Electors Palatine, built from 1752 to designs by Nicolas de Pigage. The highlights are the spacious palace gardens, the court theatre and the mosque in the park. The theatre is the main venue of the annual Schwetzingen Festival.
