Schloss Moosham

Moosham Castle sits high above the Lungau, a medieval fortress first mentioned in 1191. Count Wilczek bought the decaying castle in 1886 and filled it with a rich art collection, including Roman finds from the area. There are also records and instruments of torture, original or replica, from the witch trials of around 1680. The castle still belongs to the Wilczek family.
