Hochofenmuseum Bundschuh
Thomatal, Salzburg
A visit to the blast furnace at Bundschuh takes you back to around 1860 and the harsh working conditions of miners and iron smelters. Roasting ovens, blower house, furnace, manager's house, workers' inn and lime kiln form a largely complete, listed industrial complex. Mining and smelting here go back to the 16th century.
