The medieval castle rises high above Feldkirch, linked to the old town by the former town wall. Inside, eighteen museum rooms on three floors each take up a different aspect of the town's history. Weapons from the Middle Ages to the Second World War are displayed in the castle guardroom. The castle is counted among the best-preserved in Central Europe.
