Rudný důl a hornické muzeum Harrachov
Harrachov, Liberecký kraj
Fluorite and barytes ore were mined inside Ptačinec hill, just outside Harrachov, until 1992. Today you can walk through a show tunnel and learn about the mine's history in the mining museum. Almost 21.5 km of galleries were driven here during the mine's working life. On the wooded slope outside, hollows left by the underground workings are still visible.
