Památník zapadlých vlastenců v Pasekách nad Jizerou

Paseky nad Jizerou, Liberecký kraj

Housed in the former parsonage next to St Wenceslas church in Paseky nad Jizerou, this museum began in 1958 as a memorial to the folk writer and violin maker Věnceslav Metelka. It covers village scribes, amateur theatre and life in the western Krkonoše in the 19th and early 20th centuries. A collection of violins runs from the first local makers to present-day luthiers. The exhibition was modernised in 2017–2018.
