Römerkeller Oberriexingen

Beneath a residential neighbourhood in Oberriexingen lies the well-preserved cellar of a Roman farmstead from the 2nd or 3rd century, now the smallest branch of the Archaeological State Museum. The main building measured 42 by 25 metres, with corner towers and a columned front. Finds such as painted wall plaster and glass point to a fine interior.
