Rabensteiner Stollen
Harztor, Thüringen
Since 1981 this former hard-coal mine in the Harz has been open to visitors underground. The adit lies near Netzkater on the bank of the Bere, right beside the Harzquerbahn halt. The coal-bearing layers date from the Lower Permian and are around 295 million years old.
