Psychiatrie-Museum

Set in an old villa on the grounds of a hospital in Haar, this museum traces the history of psychiatry. Original objects, photographs and text panels in several rooms show how a former asylum for nervous disorders became a modern psychiatric hospital over almost a century. The darker chapters of the Nazi era are covered too.
