Haidhausen-Museum
München, Bayern
This district museum is the place to get to know Haidhausen beyond its beer gardens. It tells the story of the neighbourhood's culture and history, with exhibitions on subjects such as the Auer Dult fair or the Ludwig bridges, which mattered to the founding of Munich. It occupies a three-storey neoclassical house from 1862 on Kirchenstraße, between the old and new parish churches of St. Johann Baptist and the cemetery, in the oldest part of the district.
