Přírodovědecké muzeum v Praze
Praha, Praha
The natural history collections of the National Museum hold more than 15 million objects, though only a fraction is on show. The best-known exhibit in the historic museum building is the skeleton of a sei whale. Eight departments look after the collections, from mineralogy and palaeontology to botany, entomology and zoology. The museum also has its own site in Horní Počernice.
