Phonomuseum „Alte Schule“
Holzdorf, Schleswig-Holstein
The restored old village school in Holzdorf is now given over to radios and gramophones. Four rooms, each themed on an era, cover more than 400 square metres and show around 1,600 devices tracing the phonograph industry from 1880 to about 1980. Among the oldest pieces are music boxes played with perforated discs. Visits are by guided tour.
