Pasqualati-Haus

Wien, Wien

Ludwig van Beethoven lived several times between 1804 and 1815 in this house on the Mölker Bastei, part of the old city fortifications. The museum occupies an apartment next to the one he lived in. Some of his most important works were written here, including the 4th, 5th and 7th symphonies. The house itself was built in 1797 as a stately apartment block.
