Osterzgebirgsmuseum Schloss Lauenstein

Schloss Lauenstein sits on a rock high above the Müglitz valley, a Renaissance castle with more than 30 exhibition rooms. Visitors move through 800 years of the history of Lauenstein and Saxony and through the castle's chambers. There is also a herb garden and an exhibition suited to families. Since 2019 the castle has been part of the Ore Mountains mining region UNESCO World Heritage Site.
