Norderneyer Fischerhausmuseum

Norderney, Niedersachsen

A replica of a 19th-century Norderney fisherman's house holds this museum in the Argonner Wäldchen grove near the west beach. It follows the history of Germany's oldest North Sea resort and the frugal life of the island's first inhabitants. Exhibits and documents cover daily life, customs, seafaring and fishing, and a tea house is part of the site.
