Niederdeutsches Bibelzentrum St. Jürgen

Barth, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

Housed in the former hospital church of St. Jürgen, a brick building from 1380 of which only the chancel survives, this centre is devoted to the Bible. Among its pieces is the Barth Bible, printed in the town in 1588 in Middle Low German. It also serves as a place of learning, especially for school groups.
