Muzeum Ziemi Wałeckiej w Wałczu

Wałcz, zachodniopomorskie

The museum is housed in a Neoclassical manor from the early 19th century. Its exhibition on the history of the Wałcz land runs from prehistory to the post-war years, with finds from digs at Strączno and Tuczno, 17th and 18th-century records of the local starosty, Prussian-era mementos and items on the breaking of the Pomeranian Wall in 1945. It also runs the Cegielnia fortification open-air site, where you can explore remains of German defences built in 1932–1935.
