A regional museum in Miechów, set in the former monastery buildings beside the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre, known as the General's Castle. It holds archaeological, historical and ethnographic items from the Miechów district. The collection was inherited from an older regional museum and its Kościuszko branch, so the local museum tradition goes back to the early twentieth century.
