A regional museum in Braniewo, at Gdańska 19, opened in 2016 by local enthusiasts of the town's history. Its collection grew from the holdings of the Braniewo Historical Society Baszta and from gifts by residents. It presents the story of the Braniewo area, in a town whose museum tradition goes back to 1880.
