Muzeum Historii Medycyny we Fromborku

Frombork, warmińsko-mazurskie

A museum of the history of medicine and pharmacy, set in the former Holy Spirit hospital and its St Anne's chapel. The building dates from 1426–1433 and was reshaped in the Baroque into a basilica-like form, with twelve cells for the sick, a dining room, kitchen and pharmacy. The chapel chancel keeps 15th-century Gothic wall paintings of nineteen Last Judgement scenes. You will also see two bathhouse stoves, 17th-century epitaph slabs and a stone Madonna and Child from the later 14th century.
