Zdeněk Burian, illustrator of adventure books and painter of prehistoric animals and people, spent a good part of his life in Štramberk. The exhibition on his life and work stands on the main square, in a building shared with a Nový Jičín regional museum display and the town information centre. You can see the reconstructions of the prehistoric world that made his name.
