Muzeum Zalewu Wiślanego

Set on the shore of the Vistula Lagoon at Kąty Rybackie, this branch of the National Maritime Museum shows how people in the area built boats and made their living from fishing. The centrepiece is a genuine, fully equipped boatbuilder's workshop that belonged to the Schmidt family of Łaszka. You will also see a barkas, a sailing vessel still used for fishing in the 1960s, and traditional fishing boats from around the lagoon. Look out for the ice glider Ludowy 8, nicknamed the Weiland after its designer.
