Muzeum Wsi Mazowieckiej

Sierpc, mazowieckie

This open-air museum sits where the Sierpienica and Skrwa rivers meet, and its buildings are laid out like a traditional Masovian row village. Across about 60 hectares you will find more than eighty structures: eleven peasant farmsteads from the turn of the 20th century, a reconstructed manor house, an 18th-century wooden church moved from Drążdżewo, and a post windmill of the oldest European type. Permanent displays are housed in the Folk Sculpture Gallery and the Carriage House, and the collection counts over 13,000 items.
